521,000 tonnes of avoidable (!) food waste are produced every year in Austrian households alone. By comparison, the Eiffel Tower only weighs a mere 10,000 tonnes.

‘Knowledge is power’ is a well-known saying - but more importantly, knowledge does something to us. With the conviction that being confronted with facts and figures triggers something in us, we are always on the lookout for topics that make us sit up and take notice. We believe that many problems can be solved if only enough people are made aware of them. If enough people become curious, think about it and discuss solutions, someone will eventually come up with a brilliant idea.

DidYouKnow aims to raise awareness and provide (environmental) technical fun facts for the next party. In future, however, we also want to give more hope and good vibes. Which problems have been successfully solved in the past? What exciting things are currently being researched? Where could YOU perhaps get involved and become part of the solution?

Ongoing tasks:

- Collect exciting topics

- Thorough research (usually in a team of 2)

- Prepare research briefly and concisely

- Cooperation with the social media team for the design and distribution
