‘How can politicians be convinced that a revitalisation of the S81 Leoben - Trofaiach makes sense and is an enrichment for the communities?’

The question for the RailS81 project was as simple as it was challenging. Together with the S81 working group, the project team fought for this already electrified railway line to be revitalised. This would not only promote public transport and reduce emissions, but could also contribute to the revitalisation of Leoben's city centre and create jobs along the way. Unfortunately, after many discussions and a great deal of commitment, we had to realise that those responsible were not prepared to pursue the project any further. However, despite this sobering news, we believe that our time was well invested in drawing attention to the importance of sustainable transport solutions.

Sometimes the journey is the destination - and we are convinced that with every initiative we take another step in the right direction.
